Welcome to Banham Primary School
Welcome to our School Website!
We at Banham Primary School are proud that we help each individual child to be the best that they can be. We are lucky to have caring, friendly, committed staff, parents and governors. We want all our children to be happy, safe learners who try their best and enjoy achieving their goals and learning new skills.
We feel that this is articulated through our shared vision:
C. Confident Children
A. Able to meet future challenges
R. Responsible members of the community
E. Effective learners
The following quotation was taken from our recent Ofsted report following our inspection that was conducted over the first two days of October in 2024.
“The school has a strong sense of community. This is reflected in the kind and happy nature of the pupils. They speak positively about the school and they act responsibly, embodying the school’s values. School staff model the very best of what they expect from the pupils. This culture ensures pupils feel safe, knowing adults are there to help when needed.”
In November 2016 we academised as part of the ‘Co-operative Education East’ Academy Trust and work closely with our Co-operative schools at Bunwell and Thompson.
We strongly encourage families to take an active role in our school. The Friends of Banham School (FOBS) work tirelessly for the benefit of the pupils, and hold a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. They have in recent years funded school trips, visits by authors, phonics scheme of work including reading books and party entertainers for the children to enjoy!
If you are interested in enrolling your child at our school we would be delighted to show you around and answer any queries you may have!
